Website designed and maintained by Tani Correia Hi! I would personally like to welcome you to my website... WELCOME! :o) My name is Tani, and I have been sculpting with various polymer clays for some years now... My love for sculpting babies really started in 2003. In the past, I made babies, but they were more of a "cartoony" type of baby. I enjoyed making them but I wanted to go for a more realistic look. So back to the drawing board I went... I was determined to get SOME realism from these balls-of-clay-turned-baby. Hoping in the process that they wouldn't look like little old men, or some creature from Planet Mars! ha ha. They are just so much fun to make... and that's how the Klaytime.com MINIS (3-4 inches) were born (so to speak). I started crafting Fairies in 2005. It's different from making babies, but also lots of fun. I let my imagination take me where it may. I love to be able to simply create from a ball of clay. As with the babies, I try to use the finest materials along with my creativity, and imagination when creating a fairy. Just recently in 2006, I tried making even smaller babies (1-2 inches) and found that I enjoy that quite a bit as well. And well, that's where the TEENIES came from. The MINIS and TEENIES are all handmade,One-of-a-kind and take many hours to complete. Each little one is made with great detail and lots of LOVE. It all began after a trip to Mexico where I became intrigued with a local artist who specialized in making characters from clay. As I have always been interested in many aspects of the arts, such as painting, drawing and writing, I decided to give it a go. So, I read and learned about the different mediums of clay, and found my interest in polymer clay. Rather than making the same kind of sculpture over and over... I strive to create better and more realistic dolls every time. My main goal is that everyone who sees my work or owns a piece to see and feel the passion that goes into creating a true one-of-a-kind. I hope my dolls bring you much joy! Thank you so much for looking!
Hope you enjoy your visit at KlayTime.com. Many Thanks!
