Q. Do you use other materials besides clay to make your figurines?
A. Yes. Although my pieces are made primarily from polymer clay, I do use other materials to compliment the intended figurine. Such materials include special paints, wire, beads, and other medium.
Q. Are your figurines soft?
A. No. All finished figurines are hard. They are made with soft or semi-soft clay and then are cured by baking into a hard matte finish.
Q. Are your figurines breakable?
A. Although figurines are usually sturdy, some pieces may be fragile. The smaller or thinner a particular piece, the more delicate it will be. My advice... handle with care.
Q. What is Polymer Clay?
A. Polymer Clay is not "true" clay found in the earth. It is made from PVC, polyvinyl chloride (the same family of plastics that make up the plumbing in your home). It is mixed with a plasticizer and color pigment is added. Polymer Clays are available in many colors, and can be mixed together to create your own colors. It was first developed in 1930, in Germany.
Q. How long will it take for me to receive an ordered item?
A. You will receive a confirmation email upon receipt of payment for all purchases. Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery. Confirmation Email will be sent out when purchased product is mailed out.
Q. What type of clay do you use for your projects?
A. I use polymer clays from brand names such as ProSculpt, Fimo, Premo, and Sculpey.
Q. Do you use any set molds in your work?
A. No. I do not use any molds. All of my work is hand made and original. No two products will ever be exactly alike, although may have a likeness.
